I decided to integrate Spotify because of their big music catalogue and good Developer APIs. Spotify however requires you to be a Spotify Premium Member to use the Player functionality. You can create Partys without Spotify Premium - but listening to Music requires a Premium Account.

Unfortunately, the Spotify Web Player does not provide a crossfading feature. This is why you cannot configure Crossfading.

Schwifty uses a free API for Song Lyrics and Songs can only be searched by Tracks names - Sometimes they don't match because you're getting Lyrics for an original Track while Spotify plays a remastered version (or a Remix). Not all Lyrics are of high quality and sometimes they are bad or don't even exist. Unfortunately good time synced Lyrics APIs are very cost intensive and there's currently no other way to retrieve such Lyrics. Better than nothing I guess.

AutoDJ is currently a Beta Feature that can be enabled for a specific Playlist. In the background, it uses ChatGPT Assistants to find Songs matching your prompt and then adds those Songs found to your Playlist. This is by far not perfect as ChatGPT Assistants are also a Beta feature and ChatGPT doesn't know all current Tracks you can listen to in the Radio. AutoDJ is a backup feature if nobody added a Song to your Playlist and it runs empty. For any ideas and feedback please use the contact mail above.
